Day 1: Nairobi – Upon arrival at JKIA airport you will be met by our staff and transferred to Southern Sun Mayfair hotel for check in and a remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Southern Sun Mayfair hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Nairobi –Samburu Game Reserve Leave Nairobi after breakfast to Samburu, heading north, you’ll pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. After Nanyuki town, you’ll continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district. From here it’s a fairly short hop to Samburu. Arrival at the lodge in time for lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets.Overnight at Ashnil Samburu camp on a full board basis.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve -Early morning game drive is followed by breakfast, and time to relax by the camp pool or the terrace overlooking the river. After lunch, there will be another game drive returning to the camp as the sunsets. Overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp on a full board basis.

Day 4 : Samburu Game Reserve – Aberdares Leave after breakfast and drive south and into the forests of the Aberdare Mountain range arriving at Outspan Hotel for lunch and then afternoon transfer to the Treetops Lodge.Located in the Aberdare National Park, the Treetops Lodge Nyeri tree-house lodge on stilts is famous as the place where Queen Elizabeth II visited as a princess and left as queen. Originally built in 1932, Treetops Lodge lies in the path of an ancient Elephant migratory route between the Aberdare Ranges and Mt Kenya National park, and is strategically sited right in front of a natural watering hole and salt lick, making it the perfect place to view game. Treetops is as much a part of nature as it has an ancient tree growing right through the hotel, with the lodge being built around it. It is the perfect fusion of nature and comfort sporting a rustic look that fits right into the Aberdares.

Day 5: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru An early morning start takes you North West as you head for Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson’s Falls for its 237 foot cascade. Now travel in a southerly direction to your next destination, the spectacular Lake Nakuru. This is often colored a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Following lunch there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets.Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge on a full board basis.Lake Nakuru Lodge Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in the heart of one of Kenya’s most densely populated wetland National Parks, (Ramsar site) only two leisurely hours’ drive from Nairobi, through beautiful forested uplands and passing a series of lakes. On the outskirts of the bustling market town of Nakuru lies a truly remarkable national park which has achieved international fame. Both black and white rhino are being given a new lease of life in this 188 sq km, fully-fenced park – and they are carefully protected. The present rhino population is over 50 and continuing to multiply. The Rothschild’s giraffe is another rarity and the park has its fair share of buffalo, leopard, zebra, eland, waterbuck and lion. Lake Nakuru Lodge is in the south-east ecological niche of the park, with commanding views of the lake and the flamingos for which it is justly famous. Lush gardens surround the lodge and cottages. There is a good programme of activities and evening entertainment.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara
 After an early morning breakfast, drive to Narok town via Mai-Mahiu with a brief a rest stop and proceed on to Mara arriving in time for lunch at Mara Simba Lodge. After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive returning back to the lodge as the sunsets.
Overnight at Mara Leisure Camp on a full board basis.

Day 7: Maasai Mara
Early morning game drives in the reserve returning back to your camp for breakfast. After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river.  In the late afternoon on your way back to the camp, A visit to a Maasai village and a school at an Extra Cost. Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
 After breakfast you’ll depart the Maasai Mara and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. From here cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley whilst keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle before heading up the rift escarpment. You’ll arrive into Kenya’s bustling capital in the early afternoon. Once in the city, you will be dropped off at Sarova Panafric Hotel for overnight on bed& breakfast.

Day 9: Nairobi- Fly out

DAY 2: NAIROBI – Maasai Mara, After breakfast, we shall pick you from your City hotel and depart by 0800hrs for Masai Mara, driving southwest to what has been aptly dubbed as the “ultimate game viewing destination in the world,” home to the largest wildebeest migration across two countries. Descend into the Great Rift Valley where we make our first stop to view the magnificent view below as we take photos.

Afterward, continue with our journey passing maize and wheat plantations along the way as we make our second stop at Narok town (major Masai Administrative center) proceed further south as we arrive at our Sentrim Mara Camp for lunch.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE, after breakfast, this will be a day of game viewing where you will carry packed lunch. Blessed with an outstanding concentration of animals and panoramic views of across the plains and dotted woodlands, the Masai Mara provides an experience unsurpassed.
As the northern extension of the great Serengeti grassland, the reserve is host to the annual migration of over a million wildebeest –the most awesome wildlife spectacle on planet earth.
The Mara covers an area of about 1,500 square kilometers in the south-western corner of Kenya, is not fenced and bordered on the west by the Olooloo escarpment and in the east by the Ngama Hills.
The common language of the Masai is Maa in which the word Mara means spotted – referring to the clusters of the bush which dot the plains.
In addition to the wildebeest and hordes of zebra which joins them in their annual pilgrimage for pastures, the Masai Mara supports the lion, cheetah, elephant, kongoni, topi, Thomson’s gazelle and the Defassa waterbuck, as well as eight species of primate.
Picnic lunch will be at the hippo pool where with luck you may spot hippos and crocs basking in the sun.

We may visit a Masai manyatta/village to interact with them as they entertain you with dances as you take photos and videos where you may learn more about the Masai culture. Return by 1845hrs.

Day 4: Masai Mara, Early morning pre-breakfast game drive.
Lunch at camp.
In the afternoon there is a choice between a game drive, swimming at the lodge/camp or a nature walk escorted by our armed Maasai guides.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nakuru, After breakfast, leave Masai Mara for Nakuru with scenic views of Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot.
Lunch will be at Sarova Lion Hill game lodge. In the afternoon proceed for an afternoon game drive around the lake in search of rhinos and flamingoes common in this park. Evening checks out of the park and proceeds for check-in, dinner and overnight at Merica Hotel. Distance approx. 250kms

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Samburu, After breakfast depart for Samburu Game Reserve with a stop at Thompson Falls, which is named after Joseph Thompson, one of the first European explorers who walked from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the 1880’s.
 We shall crisscross the equator almost 8 times. Lunch will be at Ashnilcamp. Have time to relax then afternoon Game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp.Distance approx. 300kms

Day 7: Samburu, Samburu is North of the equator and contains rare, drought resistant animal species which go for long periods of time without water.
 These include the reticulated / Samburu giraffe, grevy’s zebra, the blue- shanked Somali ostrich, the gerenuk or giraffe gazelle and the beisaoryx.

Break for lunch at camp.
 In the late afternoon (at an extra cost) go for optional activities like having a nature walk, visiting Samburu villages to see the nomadic lifestyle or swimming in the camp pool.
Rest of meals and overnight at AshnilSamburu camp.

Day 8: Samburu – Nairobi, After breakfast, depart Samburu for Nairobi with scenic views of Mount Kenya’s peak if weather permits.
Pass very pleasant countryside with tea and coffee plantations en route to Nairobi.
Arrive in time for complimentary lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant.

You may choose to extend your safari to Coastal city of Mombasa for a relaxing beach holiday OR if you wish to travel back home you will be transferred to the airport marking the end of our safari.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi After breakfast proceed on a game drive in the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park which has a fantastic array of bird life including flamingos, white pelicans and marabou stork, all water birds that breed in the lake’s alkaline waters.
 You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe that has 5 horns instead of the usual three and clear instead of spotted shanks (legs).

A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the Lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest.
 Makalia falls within the park are an additional attraction.
 Return to Nairobi where you will enjoy a complimentary lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve; Early morning game drive game drive in the reserve returning back to your camp for breakfast. Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often colored shimmering flamingo pink, from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. After lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, depart for an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park before continuing to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park; After an early breakfast, you will depart with a picnic lunch leaving the Rift Valley behind, you continue towards Nairobi and then head south towards OlTukai Lodge. Then proceed with afternoon game drive in the park en route to the Amboseli arriving in the evening. Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp on a full board basis.

Day 6: Amboseli; Full day in the Park. Amboseli National Park is situated near the border of Kenya and Tanzania in the south-east region of Kenya about 250 km from Nairobi. Magnificent views of snow-capped Kilimanjaro are dominant. The best time to see it, however, is early morning or just at sunset. This is Africa’s highest mountain – some call it “the rooftop of Africa”. Game drives with all meals and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp on a full board basis.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi; Following an early breakfast, you’ll catch your last views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as you depart Amboseli viewing game en route to the border of the park. From here turn west to the colorful border town of Namanga, where you will find some unique Maasai beadwork. Then turn north along a good tarmac road across the beautiful and seemingly never-ending Athi Plains, arriving in Kenya’s bustling capital city of Nairobi by mid-day. Alternatively, you can be dropped at either Tarakea/Namanga Border post for a Tanzania safari extension.
