Day 1: Nairobi – Upon arrival at JKIA airport you will be met by our staff and transferred to Southern Sun Mayfair hotel for check in and a remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Southern Sun Mayfair hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Nairobi –Samburu Game Reserve Leave Nairobi after breakfast to Samburu, heading north, you’ll pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. After Nanyuki town, you’ll continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district. From here it’s a fairly short hop to Samburu. Arrival at the lodge in time for lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets.Overnight at Ashnil Samburu camp on a full board basis.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve -Early morning game drive is followed by breakfast, and time to relax by the camp pool or the terrace overlooking the river. After lunch, there will be another game drive returning to the camp as the sunsets. Overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp on a full board basis.

Day 4 : Samburu Game Reserve – Aberdares Leave after breakfast and drive south and into the forests of the Aberdare Mountain range arriving at Outspan Hotel for lunch and then afternoon transfer to the Treetops Lodge.Located in the Aberdare National Park, the Treetops Lodge Nyeri tree-house lodge on stilts is famous as the place where Queen Elizabeth II visited as a princess and left as queen. Originally built in 1932, Treetops Lodge lies in the path of an ancient Elephant migratory route between the Aberdare Ranges and Mt Kenya National park, and is strategically sited right in front of a natural watering hole and salt lick, making it the perfect place to view game. Treetops is as much a part of nature as it has an ancient tree growing right through the hotel, with the lodge being built around it. It is the perfect fusion of nature and comfort sporting a rustic look that fits right into the Aberdares.

Day 5: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru An early morning start takes you North West as you head for Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson’s Falls for its 237 foot cascade. Now travel in a southerly direction to your next destination, the spectacular Lake Nakuru. This is often colored a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Following lunch there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets.Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge on a full board basis.Lake Nakuru Lodge Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in the heart of one of Kenya’s most densely populated wetland National Parks, (Ramsar site) only two leisurely hours’ drive from Nairobi, through beautiful forested uplands and passing a series of lakes. On the outskirts of the bustling market town of Nakuru lies a truly remarkable national park which has achieved international fame. Both black and white rhino are being given a new lease of life in this 188 sq km, fully-fenced park – and they are carefully protected. The present rhino population is over 50 and continuing to multiply. The Rothschild’s giraffe is another rarity and the park has its fair share of buffalo, leopard, zebra, eland, waterbuck and lion. Lake Nakuru Lodge is in the south-east ecological niche of the park, with commanding views of the lake and the flamingos for which it is justly famous. Lush gardens surround the lodge and cottages. There is a good programme of activities and evening entertainment.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara
 After an early morning breakfast, drive to Narok town via Mai-Mahiu with a brief a rest stop and proceed on to Mara arriving in time for lunch at Mara Simba Lodge. After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive returning back to the lodge as the sunsets.
Overnight at Mara Leisure Camp on a full board basis.

Day 7: Maasai Mara
Early morning game drives in the reserve returning back to your camp for breakfast. After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river.  In the late afternoon on your way back to the camp, A visit to a Maasai village and a school at an Extra Cost. In the evening spend a few hours enjoying the lodges’ recreational facilities such as the swimming pool or you may take a walk with the resident lodge naturalist. Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure camp.

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
 After breakfast you’ll depart the Maasai Mara and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. From here cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley whilst keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle before heading up the rift escarpment. You’ll arrive into Kenya’s bustling capital in the early afternoon. Once in the city, you will be dropped off at Sarova Panafric Hotel for overnight on bed& breakfast.

Day 9: Nairobi- Fly out

Day 1: Nairobi/Arrival Kenya:

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet our representative, greet and transfer to your hotel/lodge.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara, After breakfast, we will pick you from your Nairobi hotel then depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve. There will be a stop at the viewpoint of the Great Rift whose view of the valley below is splendidly panoramic and another stop for refueling in Narok Town (the major administrative center for the Maasai Community).

On arrival, check in at Ol Moran camp where you will have your late lunch.
 At 1600hrs, enjoy an evening game drive in this world-famous reserve due to its high animal concentration and its yearly seasonal migration of wildebeest and zebra. Dinner and overnight at Ol–Moran camp/Similar hotel. 
Distance Nairobi – Masai Mara approx. 250kms

Day 3: Masai Mara, After breakfast, proceed for a day of tracking game with your driver/guide.
 All the ‘Big 5’ may be seen namely elephant, buffalo, and lion though the sighting of rhino and leopard which make the total five cannot be guaranteed as they are few in number, very shy and elusive.
 Break for your leisurely picnic lunch at the hippo pool, where you may spot hippos and crocodiles basking in the sun.
Then in the afternoon (at an extra cost) go for optional activities like having a nature walk, visiting a Maasai village to see the nomadic lifestyle.
Dinner and overnight at Ol – Moran camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Nakuru, Early morning pre -breakfast game drive. After breakfast depart for Nakuru for lunch at Merica Hotel.
 While on the highway, Mount Longonot (which is of Volcanic origin) and Lake Naivasha can be seen from afar. Dinner and overnight at Merica Hotel or Similar hotel.Distance Mara – Lake Nakuru approx. 260kms

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi After breakfast proceed on a game drive in the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park which has a fantastic array of bird life including flamingos, white pelicans and marabou stork, all water birds that breed in the lake’s alkaline waters.
 You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe that has 5 horns instead of the usual three and clear instead of spotted shanks (legs).

A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the Lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest.
 Makalia falls within the park are an additional attraction.
 Return to Nairobi where you will enjoy a complimentary lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.

You may spend a night at a City hotel OR if you have an evening outbound flight, then you will be transferred to the airport after a memorable safari.
 Distance Lake Nakuru – Nairobi approx. 160kms.

The Great Lakes Safari is an ultimate safari in terms of bird watching, wildlife viewing & scenic adventure safari. With this safari option you will visit Kenya Highlands – the Aberdares and Mount Kenya then the Great Rift Valley Park Lakes & crown the tour with a visit to world-renowned Masai Mara an all-round wildlife hotspot not to be missed.

Day 1: Nairobi, Upon arrival at JKIA airport you will be met by our staff and transferred to Golden Tulip hotel for check in and the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Golden Tulip hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Nairobi – Aberdares; Meet and greet will be followed by a joint discussion of this itinerary before departure. Begin your safari journey to Mt. Kenya region. This will be a relaxed drive with your driver pointing out any new sightings on the way. Arrive at your lodge in time for Lunch. Afternoon you will be transferred to Aberdares National park for overnight at Tree hotel. Evening game watching at a floodlit waterhole. Watch animals as they come for water and scratch for salt from the comfort of your lodge. Dinner and overnight at the ARK Lodge.

Day 3: Aberdares-Lake Bogoria, After an early morning breakfast, check out and take a scenic drive via  Thomson’s Falls where you will stop to view the scenic waterfalls.Proceed via Tea/coffee plantation arriving at Lake Bogoria for lunch. In the afternoon proceed to the reserve to see the Hot Springs and the Geysers and then return back to the resort for Dinner. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bogoria Resort & Spa.

Day 4: Lake Bogoria – Lake Nakuru (Game drive) – Lake Naivasha, Leaving Bogoria, you travel Lake Nakuru. The lake is often colored by a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. Once in the park, there will be a game drive en route to the lodge. Following lunch and another early afternoon game drive in the park. At 4 o’clock, leave Lake Nakuru and travel to Lake Naivasha for overnight. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge on a full board basis.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara, Early morning breakfast followed by a departure with Game viewing en-route to the exit. Drive to Masai Mara arriving in time for late lunch. Evening game drive in this paradise of animals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 6: Masai Mara, Spent the whole day in game viewing. The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop point for game viewing. Look out for the “BIG FIVE”, Predators, Star Ventures and much more as they roam freely in this game park. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration river crossing [july-september]. Return to your lodge in the evening for Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Masai Mara-Nairobi, This is our last day of our safari and we will have an optional early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast leaves Masai Mara and drives back to Nairobi with lunch en-route. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon & transfer to your resident hotel or to the airport for your onward flight back home.
